My name is Kendra and I own Bubbafly Photography, a new photography studio located in Oskaloosa, Iowa. What’s different about my service is that I come to you and shoot in the comfort of your own home if you so choose. I work with children, infants, couples, families, individuals and so forth. If you have specific ideas for photos, I’ll give it my best shot to create what you envision.
I am also VERY interested in photographing bands and shows/concerts, so if you are in a band and need photos or know of any upcoming shows/concerts, please contact me!

The last of the Rollin’ Oldies photos are DONE AND UPLOADED! Next I will be working on photos from the car show at Klyn Automotive in Ottumwa held on Aug. 8th and the 3M Car Show held in Knoxville on Aug. 9th. Then after those will be the rest of the shows I attended in order. Please bear with me as I try to get them done. I have another wedding to shoot this coming weekend, so until I am done with those pictures, the car show pics will be put on hold. It may take another month, but they WILL get done.
To those of you who bought calendars– I received a batch a couple weeks ago, but the quality was not as it should be so they were sent back to the printer. I am scheduled to receive one this coming Tuesday (30th), and if it is correct the rest should follow. If not, it too will be sent back until the printer gets them printed correctly. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR CALENDARS. It’s just taking a lot longer than expected. If you would rather not bother and want your money back, please contact me and I will give you a refund.

Sorry it’s taken me a little longer to get pics uploaded this time, I had my first wedding shoot on Saturday so I’ve been working on it instead. Gotta work on the stuff I’m paid to do, right? Anyway, more pics have been uploaded in the Gallery and to the Prints site. After Rollin’ Oldies, I have 2 other car shows worth of pictures to work on, and there are more coming up that I’ll be taking pictures at. How fast I get pictures done all depends on the paying jobs that I have. They always come first. So it may take me a while to get all the pictures up, but never fear, it will get done! And speaking of upcoming car shows, I will be appearing at the following events:
Aug. 21 – Show & Shine @ H & S Feed Store – 5:30
Aug. 23 – Grinnell Car Show (time unknown)
Sept. 1 – Graffiti Night @ Arnold’s – 6:00
Sept. 6 – Fremont Frontier Days (time unknown)
Sept. 26 – Car Show @ Wal-Mart (time not yet determined)
The site redesign is unfortunately on the back-burner for now. At least until I can get the paying jobs done and the car show pics caught up somewhat! Also, I have put together and ordered a 2009 calendar using some of my favorite pictures from car shows I have attended this summer. As soon as I have it, I will be bringing it to the shows above so that you all can see it, and if you’d like, to place an order. As of this time, they will only be available by contacting me directly (no online ordering). I will be selling them for $30 plus tax. It may seem like alot for a calendar, but you’ll be receiving 12 prints for the price of 3 and may even be lucky enough to have your car in the calendar.
I’ve rambled on enough for now. Enjoy the new uploads, and I look forward to seeing you all on the 21st and 23rd!

The rest of the pictures from Graffiti Night and the start of the pictures from Rollin’ Oldies have been uploaded to the Gallery and Prints sections. You may notice though that there are a few pictures in the gallery that are not available as prints. The reason for this is that while the finished picture looks relatively fine for viewing on the web, it’s not up to my standards as a print and no amount of editing I do will raise it to those standards. For this, I’m sorry. That being said, if there is an image in the gallery that you want and it’s not available as a print, please contact me and I’ll we’ll discuss it.
In other news, I’m working on completely redesigning the site to make it more accessible, and to give it a fresher look that reflects the type of photography that I already do (and would like to!) I hope to have this done within the next week, so stay tuned!

14 pictures from the Rollin’ Oldies Graffiti Night (7-25-08) have been uploaded to the Gallery. There are approximately 35 more pictures from this night alone, and almost 100 from Saturday’s Rollin’ Oldies event. I have been working almost non stop on pictures this past week hoping to get them all uploaded by this weekend like I told those of you who were at the events, but alas, I didn’t expect to have this many pictures! With that in mind, I will continue to work on the pictures and hope to have them all uploaded by next Saturday (8-9-08).
Also, there has been some confusion about how to get to the Classic Car Print Order section. I am working on making buttons to make the links easier to find. Until then, there are 2 ways to get to the prints — by clicking HERE, or by going to the Classic Car and Hot Rods album in the Gallery and clicking the link at the top of each page. Both links will take you to a page where you should then click on the Select button for Bubbafly Photography Prints. Then you’re there!
